New Assassin's Gear, Precision, Power, and you!

So this happened on Reddit at some point tonight, and I thought it would be nice to explain it to you guys a little bit.  Please excuse any typos, I'm kinda drunk.

So, the first thing You'll want to know are the labels of any axes.  Horizontal are Crit damage with the base 50% included, so it essentially starts at 0% on your hero menu.  The vertical is crit chance.  It doesn't go to 100% because, idk, why the fuck would it?  

The second thing you need to know regards the numbers in the boxes.  Hopefully you figured out there's some correlation between the numbers in the boxes and the numbers in the first row and column of the boxes.  The numbers in the boxes are the break even points for power at specific crit chance/crit damage ratios. If your power is higher than the number in the box for your crit chance/crit damage numbers then you're better off stacking precision over power.  For example:

Say you have 130% crit damage and a 60% crit chance.  You'll have a break even point at 2875.  If your power is, let's say 3046, you'll want to reduce it to as close to the break even point as you can and stack into precision with the armor/trinkets you used to get the number down.  That menas replacing pieces of your Berserker's armor with the new Assassin's armor coming out on Tuesday.  

Where Berserker's armor has Power, Precision, Crit Damage where Power is the main stat, Assassin's armor has Precision, Power, Crit Damage with Precision as the main stat.  It's pretty much just min/maxing and won't really affect you if you donn't care too much about DPS, but I figured I'd make a post about it here while I still remembered (i.e. before I went to sleep and forgot).

There may be comments there by the time you see this, and the OP did a very good job at explaining it too, so you should check out what's going on there.  If this turns out to be wrong it should show up in the comments section, but it came from a different thread and seems to have held up so far.

Forgive the lack of borders in the rows and columns, reddit formatting is weird, and apparently so is Excel's.  This is the best I could do whilst sloshed.

Looks pretty awesome, you'll have to let me know what you find for 30/0 axe war.

Someone else has also tried to calculate to see which is better in berserker vs. assassin stats; he came up with a completely different result, even with the same formula.  The author of that table and that person are talking about it on /r/GuildWars2 of Reddit, unfortunately I'm still a new member so I can't post external link to that post.

GW2 doesnt have assassins

It goes along with what is presented in the thread I linked.  It also seems to go along with the spreadsheet in the thread Raccoon provided.  His best results were when Power was still higher than precision, so it seems this is what should be followed.  

It's a ratio of power to precision.
