| There was no mesmer thread, and my build was requested, so I'm posting it. If you have an improvement, alternative, or criticism, please use THIS TOOL: http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/This is what I currently use: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fgAQNAR8dlwzipXVTqGa9IxpHMf5NnkCVn6SKwNvB-jwxAYLioZCCMZZIaJviox2GKiGruGT5SEVDA-e This is intended entirely for PvE. It's pretty straightforward. I use glamour traits because 99% of the time I use Feedback and Null Field, which are both glamour skills. I think Time Warp technically used to fall under this category too, but since it's unclassified, they probably don't affect it. I use greatsword and 1-handed sword bonus damage and precision traits because those are the weapons I use. And I have +15% damage to my phantasms because I use phantasms to deal most of my damage (i.ie. Warden and Berserker.) And, obviously, I'm specc'd so my focus skills reflect projectiles, but anyone who plays mesmer can tell you that's kinda dodgy at times. It works extremely well. If you've played with my mesmer in your party, then you know it works well, because you've seen it. I do, in fact, have fire sigils on my weapons. The phantasms linked to the sword and the greatsword inherit the effects. When downed, my auto-attacks also explode. The damage I deal is excellent, but still less than a zerk warrior or thief. The utility skills frequently change. Some people prefer the Disenchanter phantasm to Null Field, I like the combo field from Null FIeld and the fact I can use it while running/resing/etc. I will frequently bring Signet of Inspiration to help might stack etc. What I'm trying to say here is the utility skills are not set in stone, because from situation to situation, they change. I have not changed these specs for almost 6 months. | |

| I was looking over your build, as I'm pretty sure it's what I will start out with on my Mesmer until I am more familiar with the class and (possibly) make a build more suited for myself. Though I think it's pretty unlikely. Your build is pretty solid.
1.) Do you know off the top of your head how much temporal enchanter increases the duration of glamour skills? Or for that matter I suppose I could wiki it...
2.) Are there any traits besides the utilities that you change out at all? Or any alternate variations you might recommend as well?
Thanks for the post. Very helpful ;D | |

| 1. 20%, if I'm not mistaken, tho Wiki says 2 seconds in the notes. 2. I used to run something that basically put points into everything... but the only reason for it was for the reduced falling damage trait, which I've since decided is unnecessary. While I was specced that way I also flipped for the 3% reduced damage per clone trait sometimes. I also traited so distortion reflected projectiles (Masterful Reflection), but I decided that was redundant. | |

| Cool cool, well I definitely look forward to giving it a try once I get my Mesmer leveled up (Hopefully sooner than later. I'm pretty lazy with leveling toons.) Thanks for the help again.
