3.) Tell us about how you play your primary profession(s). How are you geared? What role do you play in a team?
Foose is a fully zerker geared warrior.  I run a GS and axe/mace, 30/25/0/0/15 dps build.  My utilities in dungeons are For great Justice, Banner of Disc., and either sigil of rage/balanced stance/shake it off/endure pain depending on the particular fight.  I also carry an exotic of every usable weapon in my bags at all times, just in case...

4.) What server are you currently on? if not on Dragonbrand do you intend on changing?
I'm currently on Jade Quarry.  It's an awesome server, but if ToA works for me and vice versa, I have no problems with transferring.

5.) What MMO games have you played in the past? Do you still play them?
Oh boy.  My first "MMO" was a Star Wars-based MUD, and it was amazing.  Raids consisted of walls of text flying past your screen faster than you could ever hope to read, but that's ok, because as long as you saw 'OBLITERATE' on all of your attacks and the health on your prompt stayed above 100 you were cool.  Any circle or dekuMUD fans out there?!

Ancient history notwithstanding, I've played a bunch of more modern MMOs.  I played WoW more than I care to admit/remember, starting at launch and going through most of WotLK.  I was an officer in a 40 man guild that was the best on our (terrible) server, which is nothing to brag about, but it was still a good time.

From WoW I moved on to Age of Conan (don't judge me).  I came for the tits and the decapitations, but I stayed for the combo system.  I actually did quite a bit of raiding in that game, and helped tank the North American first Thoth Amon kill on my conqueror (with guild).

My guild left from AoC (which by then was dead dead dead.  not just kind of dead like, oh, a month after launch) for RIFT!  This game was definitely the highlight of my gaming career.  Somewhere in Hammerfell (T2 raid), I left my old AoC guild for Addiction.  Unlike Ascendant, which had a serious big-fish-little-pond thing going on in Age of Conan, Addiction was and still is the real deal.  I main tanked several world first boss kills in T3 for them (Laethys and Eggs), and had a blast racing for world-first on all the other fights.  To be perfectly honest, I'd probably still be playing with Addiction if their GW2 section didn't flop.  However, I don't have enough time to sink into maintaining a top-tier raiding character in ANY game, and GW2 is pretty much the perfect game for me at this point in my life, so here I am!

I've also played a bunch of different MMO's, including in no particular order:  EVE online, TERA, Ultima Online, DAoC, and certainly some others I can't even remember...  But GW2 is the only thing I play right now.

6.) Please rate each of the following aspects of Guild Wars 2 in order of importance to you. (1=Lowest, 5=Highest)
a. Story/Lore = 2
b. Exploration/Cartography = 1
c. Extracurricular Activities such as crafting, (power) trading, chatting = 3
d. General casual play = 3
e. High Level or Challenging areas (most likely with a group, ie: end game content and dungeons) = 5
f. PvP or WvWvW = 1

7.) Please explain why you would like to join ToA.
I need a group of people who are still excited about running explorable dungeons/fractals!  Plus Quoki is in your guild, and she's the best pve-guardian I've played with in this game, so this seems like a natural move for me.

8.) How did you hear about ToA? Do you know anyone in ToA? Please list their name(s).
Just Quoki, really.  I ran a CoE with her and some ToA guildies just earlier tonight, and they gave me this site when I asked them about joining.

9.) Do you have Teamspeak and a headset with a microphone?
I have used and loved TS in the past, and will download it again right after I finish this app.  And yes, I have a headset w/ mic.  Every real gamer needs one!

10.) How often do you play Guild Wars 2? Hours per day? Days per week?
On average I'd have to guess about 2 hours per day.  More on weekends naturally, sometimes less on weekdays.

11.) Did you play Guild Wars 1? (If Yes, please tell us your character names and what guilds you were in.)
See, I knew I forgot to list some MMO's on question 5!  I only played for a very short time, however.  My friends all wanted me to play it, but then when I finally bought it they quit playing!  Those jerks.  I lasted about a week in GW1 and can't even remember my character name.

12.) Please tell us what is most important to you in a guild. Be specific.
The biggest thing I'm looking for out of ToA is lots of fun dungeon runs.  Beyond that, I hope to find a drama-free environment, where people are more helpful and cooperative than competitive inside dungeons.  I'm all about running with a high-end guild, but it's still nice when people don't shit all over someone who makes a mistake.  That was my biggest complaint about Addiction.  Taking avoidable damage or having sub-par dps was met with a "fix it" response, and wiping the raid resulted in "fucking fix it now" and usually a raid kick.  And hey, this is OK for a competitive, world-first seeking raiding guild where you really need to have the best 20 players in every single raid.  The problem was that the leadership's attitude crept down the ranks to form a culture of competition instead of cooperation.  People constantly complained privately about so-and-so's dps, or heals, or crappy tanking even in 5 man dungeons.  Granted, guild chat steered clear of drama, which was nice, but the culture was still always there.

So yeah, as long as everyone's competent and willing to play their best while still having fun, I'll be one happy greatsword-whirling charr.

13.) Any additional comments you would like to add.
Fooseefus is named after my cat, and he looks pretty much just like him.  Except for the fiery greatsword.  Real Foose doesn't carry that.

Oh, and the horns.  He doesn't have horns, or two sets of ears, or plate armor.  Or any armor.

Maybe his cuteness is his armor.  I'll just upload pics if anyone's interested...

Ran with this guy in CoE, he didnt come into TS. The runs went really well. As far as I'm concerned he has a good record with me already. He meets the requirements to be an alliance member until a transfer is made.
