Master of Cruelties - Guardian lvl 80 Cyrus the Virus - Ranger lvl 80 Mistress of Cruelty - Elementalist lvl 19
3.) Tell us about how you play your primary profession(s). How are you geared? What role do you play in a team?
Primary profession is Guardian. I am geared for condition damage (Fire). The guild I am currently in does not do much as a team. I would play any role asked I could if possible.
4.) What server are you currently on? if not on Dragonbrand do you intend on changing?
Dragonbrand
5.) What MMO games have you played in the past? Do you still play them?
Guild Wars - Eton, Proph, Factions and Nightfall
6.) Please rate each of the following aspects of Guild Wars 2 in order of importance to you. (1=Lowest, 5=Highest) 5. Story/Lore 3. Exploration/Cartography 2. Extracurricular Activities such as crafting, (power) trading, chatting 4. General casual play 1. High Level or Challenging areas (most likely with a group, ie: end game content and dungeons) 5. PvP or WvWvW
7.) Please explain why you would like to join ToA.
Played with some other members a couple of members and I really enjoyed it. They were communicative and effective. I cannot remember their names...
8.) How did you hear about ToA? Do you know anyone in ToA? Please list their name(s).
Well I was in a ToA guild in Guild Wars. No clue if this is the same guild or not. However, the process for joining is the same. Overall, I met some players who I enjoyed playing with.
9.) Do you have Teamspeak and a headset with microphone?
No, I have not installed teamspeak since I built my Computer this past March. However, I do need to make use of my Razer headset that is collecting dust...
10.) How often do you play Guild Wars 2? Hours per day? Days per week?
Time varies with my school schedule. Getting a MBA is no Joke but I am almost done. I am on almost every day. I'd about 3 hours on a weekday give or take and about 6 hour on the weekend days.
11.) Did you play Guild Wars 1? (If Yes, please tell us your character names and what guilds you were in.)
No guild, I was inactive for a looong time. I was addicted to the drug called Call of Duty....lol Galadrial Narsil Cyris the Virus Lord Ranzou Galadriel Anduril
12.) Please tell us what is most important to you in a guild. Be specific.
To enjoy completing goals with other members. Going solo is no fun.
13.) Any additional comments you would like to add. Just curious, is there anyway to see if this was indeed the ToA guild I was in for Guild Wars?

Primary profession is Guardian. I am geared for condition damage (Fire). I don't always post on applications , but when I do its to say no cause of shit like this. Now just hold on a sec, that's an easily corrected problem. The important thing is that he HAS an 80 guardian and one other 80 (which is ranger, which isn't great, but it's another 80.) He does meet the req, just needs a respec. In fact: - Mitch Mizerie (requirements post) wrote:

Working on elementalist is good. YOu'll want to get that to 80 quickly. The "holy trinity" so to speak, is guardian, mesmer, warrior, so consider levelling a warrior or mesmer as well. 4. Already on dragonbrand? GREAT! that's 70g you don't have to spend. 5. GW1 veteran, great. 6. I don't care. 7. Are you SURE you don't remember their names? 8. Mitch Mizerie is the name that should ring a bell. 9. USE TEAMSPEAK. There's simply no excuse if you have a headset collecting dust. 10. I've seen lower activity. Seems acceptable to me. 11. Kinda cancels out 5... 12. Whatever. 13. See 8. Overall... you're not terribly impressive but I don't see a reason NOT to include you if you do well on a trial run.

| what was the name of the ToA you were in? If it was Tears or Trinity we are the same. (leaders Dr Evove and Evyl Hart respectively).
We will probably require you to rework your guardian build but if thats ok with you then +1

| +1 from me, given that you want to learn and use some new builds on your characters. - sean332458 wrote:

I'm worried that this could be a problem for you.

| I am guessing that you ranked your favorite activities in reverse order. However if you really do not like high end group activities then this probably isnt the place for you.
Having said that, bogy has no real reason to decline you based on your selection of traits and gear for your guardian...it does need a re-work though. For general play a condition damage guardian would be very undesirable in a team build. We have A LOT of very experienced guardians in this guild and many of them can point you in the right direction.
If you are willing to re-trait and learn some new things about GW2 that you may not know we would be happy to give you a shot and see how quickly you pick up on things.

| If you really did mean to mark high end challenging content as your least favourite thing, ToA is not for you. Assuming you meant it the other way around, great, but... From the sound of it, ToA would be a big step up from your current level of play. We're not hardcore elitists but we do like people to pull their weight in the team. In order to fit in here you'll need to make a big effort, which includes re-traiting your guardian (Bogy is right, guardians should support) and working on some more characters for diversity (rangers aren't really much good). You said you've been playing with other members of ToA - where? Download TS. Even if you don't get into ToA and end up looking elsewhere, a lot of guilds use it and it's fantastic. I threw together a couple of guardian builds for you to try out: tank with Altruistic Healingglass cannon with perma blindhybrid with both! | |

| I don't see why not, you meet requirements. A bit of work on your builds and you'd be good to go as long as you're willing to learn and be open minded about new perspectives.
I'm assuming your ordering is in reverse on accident (not a big deal)
TS is a must as others have said, even if you never talk on there.
+1

| Whoops, I did rank the aspects in the opposite order... In GW1, my my main character was Galadriel Narsil. Also, I would definitely rework my builds, I kinda just made something and went with it. I really prefer the challenging areas, as HM was all i did in GW. I really miss it... | |

| I guess I have to be the bad guy here and say no. I don't feel you have the exp we require of our guardians and sadly rangers are just not up to par with....anything else. | |

| While I cannot argue the fact that I do not have the experience in the challenging areas of guild wars 2. I was able to complete the vanquishing titles in guild wars. Which I have yet to find anything as challenging as hard mode was in guild wars in guild wars 2. Yes, the ranger is not up to par with other classes but that was my first character and I stuck with it... | |
