Every once in a while when I feel my computer is starting to run a bit slow (every like 4-5 months) I reset my computer to factory settings which makes it feel like a new computer. Now is the time so it'll take me a day or so to get GW2 up and running again.
I'll have TS and will probably pop in if I feel like it. I'll be back once I finished getting my computer fully set up and guild wars redownloaded.

you should seriously consider backing up your GW2 dat file so you don't have to do a ~20GB download. I can assure you, its not that dat file that is slowing down your computer

I did backup my gw2 dat file. It still takes a while to set everything else set up that I won't really be able to log on for that day. What really takes the most time tbh is the backing up of all my important files.
