1.) Please tell us your Account name.####, Age, Global Location/Time Zone

Account name: richo.3084
Age: 19
Location/Timezone: Australia, GMT + 10

2.) Please list the your characters' names, their levels and professions.

Necromancer: J Richo -80
Warrior: The Anti Dwarf -80
Thief: The Undead Rogue -80
Guardian: Useless Guardian -76

3.) What MMO games have you played in the past? Do you still play them?

Diablo II, no longer play... played it for a while and was eagerly awaiting DIII which pretty much sucked so instead I came to GW2 which I like.

4.) Please rate each of the following aspects of Guild Wars 2 in order of importance to you. (1=Lowest, 5=Highest)
a. Story/Lore 1
b. Exploration/Cartography 3 (only for the gift since exploration is incredibly boring)
c. Extracurricular Activities such as crafting, (power) trading, chatting 3
d. General casual play 5
e. High Level or Challenging areas (most likely with a group, ie: end game content and dungeons) 5
f. PvP or WvWvW 4

5.) Please explain why you would like to join ToA.
I have friends from the guild NAME who are moving to ToA and I was enjoying being in a guild with them so I was looking to follow.

6.) How did you hear about ToA? Do you know anyone in ToA? Please list their name(s).
Through people from NAME
Manic & Rupert

7.) Do you have Teamspeak and a headset with microphone?
Sure do

8.) How often do you play Guild Wars 2? Hours per day? Days per week?
I play a lot right now... I think I average 7 hours a day (not sure if I should be proud or ashamed). I am on most days right now, but this is mostly because I have a few months off before uni resumes. When uni goes back I will not have much time to spare study

9.) Did you play Guild Wars 1? (If Yes, please tell us your character names and what guilds you were in.)
No

10.) Please tell us what is most important to you in a guild. Be specific.
Team work & Tactics. Guilds allow players to structure their gaming experience a lot more and I like structure. Friendly people is also a massive plus O:)

11.) Any additional comments you would like to add.

Me, Dar, and Matti did a CoF run with him a few days ago. He changed characters at the end to a low level guardian so we kicked him from the group as he didnt give us any prior notice on him changing. He ended up reporting Matti for that.

To me the maturity level/age my be important.

I will refrain from voting to leave bias out of it but it is worth noting these actions.

I was not the person that actually agreed on the kick but did get a reply that I was getting reported. I don't agree that kicking him was the right thing to do at that time but he should also be aware that p1 speed runs is not the place for char swapping on bosses.

Regardless of this detail, I'd be fine with some trial runs if he get's enough vouches.

The immediate retailiation /report of anyone when you are kicked from a group seems pretty childish to me. If you were kicked without provocation it would be one thing, but you DID switch at the end of a run without telling anyone.

Neutral until you can convince me otherwise.

I think kicking someone for changing chars at the end of a dungeon seems a childish thing to do especially for CoF path 1 not exactly the most difficult path and if it was a pug run I don't see how anything else could be expected especially considering even guildy's change at the end of dungeons for the exp and we even alert people that they can do it...

Kicking someone from a team so they don't get their end chest is a bit harsh particularly when anyone in the guild would be pretty irate if they didn't get their end chest because the rest of the team passed judgement on them to say they didn't deserve it or what ever. - saying they are reporting you is a fairly typical response for being treated in a bad way on games. Pretty much the only retaliation you have.

-Oh I'm gonna blacklist you
-Oh i'm going to ban you from teams.. yeah these do nothing

-Oh I'm reporting you.. actually sounds a credible retaliation in my eyes.

End of the day though I wasn't there I have no idea of the circumstances so I'm fairly neutral on that. Meh shit happened. Move on. If it was a guild team then I doubt anyone would've had any problems with this what so ever.

The PuG run was an advertised speed run. A run where you do it over and over for chest drops. Since it was advertised as a speed run we expected it to be a speed run and have him there on his thief. If it was a CoF exp P1+2 run I wouldn't have cared. Either way I'm still neutral. I put the story up so you could make your personal decision about him.

Going to put this out on new apps. ToA isn't a skip clear guild. We take pride in the fact we complete dungeons quickly and efficiently while still completeing all the objectives within the set path. If you are looking to skip past mobs and skip objectives, cheat the game mechanics and look for ways around the parameters of the path then this may not be the guild for you-

-Again this is not a personal point on your app it's just going out to all new apps.

I think I remember this

leaving the 'speed run' to swap characters, and returning to a boss on 30% hp after leaving it at 10...

Hardly a speed run if you can't kill the boss

If I recall correctly, your team members had a cry because they spent the entire time on the ground that fight and werent able to clear 10% of the effigy HP with 4. I would rather do speed runs with PUG's in this case thanks.

Seeing that response and having nothing else to judge on I'm very sceptic.

You can remove my application because it is probably one of the worst dungeon runs I have ever been on, hardly what I would associate with a guild that prides them selves upon their experience in such scenarios. On the note of childish, kicking someone from the group without speaking a single word, rather than asking for their assistance on a different character since you are struggling on a boss would fall right under the definition of 'childish' in this thread. I am done here
