Decided to upgrade my cpu after 4.5 years. Which of course means new motherboard and memory as well.
Sadly, the memory I bought doesn't appear to be compatible with this mobo. So I'm waiting on replacements to arrive.
Depending on where newegg decided to ship from, I could be up and running by monday. Probably later, though.
I could toss the old parts back in, but I have other machines that can do everything I need except play games.
If the replacements fail to work and this ends up being a mobo issue I'll probably hulk-smash and be gone even longer.
